Custom labels and first-year anniversary glass design for an award-winning craft brewery in North Park, San Diego.

I worked very closely with Barley & Sword's head brewer and owners, to ensure each label represented their vision and values: great beer, inclusive community, and a reverence for tradition and history.

In addition to the design and illustration on the cans, I also researched and wrote a brief synopsis of each beer's history and name origins.

Barley and Sword's original beers are complimented by some amazing collab brews, crafted in partnership with BAY CITY BREWING, RAVEN PUB, STERN CRAFT BREWING, and BALLAST POINT BREWING CO.
